In year 5 we have been learning about a book called the borrowers and we thought about what we would happen next in the book and then we wrote a paragraph or 2 about it and this was my 1.The borrowers are tiny people that live in a massive house and when they say outside they mean into other rooms of the house.

After Arriety parents had told her about her cousin Egglentina and how she got out(her father acsadently left the gates open)they told her that upstairs would be getting a cat.

As Arriety went to bed se had a dream a bout going outside. when she woke uh her parents were still asleep.Arriety sneaked into her parents little bedroom and then qietly grabbed the key.She went to the start of the tunnel and unlocked but then she thought "hum,i had better put the key back so that he does not notice i am gone."but then she thought again and took the key with her.he went to the front of the tunnel and crept in ...

As Arriety got onto the tunnel she found a torch and picked it up but as Arriety went to turn it on she thought..."hum...maybe i could...go on an adventure and find a new home...yes,yes that is what i will do."Then Arriety turnt on the torch and looked where she was going a and sneakly crept on through the rough tunnel then she found some stairs and slyly got up them then when she sor the end of the tunnel she ran and she was finnaly at the end!

I
