To my dearest family,

We arrived safely in Southampton and boarded the ship as a first class passenger. There waiting in front on me was a magnificent, luxurious looking ship. At a cost of £870, we were are most certainly one of the richest families so we chose one of the finest cabins. Allowing us privacy and space on board the ship.

We have been sailing on the ship for two whole days now and have quickly discovered that we are travelling in style! So many facilities on board including a squash court, swimming pool, barber shop, libraries and the list goes on.

We are looking forward to arriving in the U.S.A and settling into our new home and seeing the famous landmarks that we have heard all about! 

Our only fear of moving to a new country is the amount of crimes committed

which are reported so often on the wireless.

The ship’s crew are working hard to get us to the U.S.A in the planned six days so hopefully we should be there soon.
