Dragonfly

There are three stages of a dragonfly's life cycle. These stages are: egg, nymph (larva), and the adult. They are flying insects and the way they fly is just like a helicopter.

Egg. The egg gets laid and hatches in water. It hatches in 1 to 5 weeks. When it hatches it is very very tiny.

Nymph. This is the stage where the dragonfly doesn't look that pleasant in fact it looks very ugly. It molts or sheds its skin about 14 times. It molts because it is getting bigger and bigger.

Adult. When a dragonfly is fully grown, it looks beautiful and it flies just like a helicopter. For it to fly it goes up and down, back and forth and side to side. A dragonfly also eats while it flies.
