For the challenge this week we would like you to go on a hunt for all things red, both in your home and when out and about. Please let us know what your child discovers about the objects by responding on the blog. 

The children will begin the week by exploring objects in a feely bag, and thinking about why they have all been put together. (We wonder what colour the objects will be…) In small groups the children will examine and sort a range of red objects, talking with their friends about the similarities and differences they find. They will also have their first cooking session in their new family groups, baking delicious jam tarts. In addition the children will have opportunities to collage and paint with different textures and shades of red. We look forward to a fun and exciting week!
