GALILEO GALILEI



Galileo Galilei was born in 1564 in Italy. He went on to become an astronomer , physicist and mathematician.

He observed the moon's surface and it was full of craters and mountains. He observed the sun surface and it was covered with sunspots and it was rotating. He believed that the sun was in the centre of the Solar System.

Today he is viewed as the father of the modern science.
