Some trouble for The EASTER Bunny!!!

It's nearly EASTER!" cried The EASTER Bunny excitedly, almost knocking into a tree! So with that, he hopped off to his burrow to decorate the EASTER eggs.But little did he know that he was in for a nasty suprise!

As he entered his comfy burrow..... he saw a figure slipping quietly out of his back door. Just as the Bunny suddenly realized .......THE EASTER EGGS HAD DISAPEARED!!!!!!"Oh carrot sticks!"he screamed franticly,nearly falling over like someone who had broken their leg!"I must do something'' he decided,recovering from his shock.

Quickly,he leapt to his feet and before you could say hobble-gobble,he was at his back door step,spying out for the egg-thief.'Where could they have gone?'the Bunny questioned himself.With that he rushed indoors to put his hat,scarf and coat on before hopping off to find this dreadful thief.

Tiptoeing silently away,he jumped,dodged and edged behind trees and bushes.Peeping through a gap in his hiding bush,he,out of the corner of his eye,spotted a squirrel........CARRYING HIS EASTER EGGS!!! "Oh no!I'll NEVER regain my eggs if he's the culprit!" "I know!I'll create a nut trap!" he exclaimed loudly, quite forgetting where he was.

Hurriedly,the EASTER Bunny home to his burrow to prepare the trap.(His trap was to find a net,some nuts and cover the net with leaves and the nuts on top!)For a fact,the Bunny knew that a squirrel can sense and smell nuts from a mile off!Quietly,he lay out his amazing trap,before hiding behind a tree to watch the success of the trap.Fortunatly,the greedy but silly squirrel smelt it and rushed over to gobble up the nuts but un-fortunatly for the squirrel,before he knew what was happening,he had been hoisted up into a tree!"Gotcha!"the EASTER Bunny cried triumphantly.''Hand over the eggs!" shouted the Bunny "I don't know what you're talking about!" lied Nutkin for that was his name "Yes you do,they're in your clothes!" answered the Bunny.Puzzled,Nutkin gazed down at his now bulging clothes which he had stuffed the eggs into in order to escape being found out!

"If you like my eggs that much,you may be my assistant!" cried the EASTER Bunny "Oh yes please!" called back Nutkin joyfully so they worked together and many (including myself) believe that they still do nowadays!
