Dear aunt Grace,

How are you? Thank you for your last letter and the nice Christmas cards you sent us. I am writing you this letter to tell you about Carnival as I promised.

On Friday we had a school outing to Ħal Għaxaq. It was really fun. We had a parade with a small float we built at school. I dressed up as a Unicorn. In the evening I went to a Carnival party with my friends, where there was a bubble show and lots of games.

On Saturday, Carnival at Valletta started and it was our first day of dancing at San Ġorġ square. I was very excited and it went really well. We danced hard to make our teacher happy. I was very tired during the parades but tourists loved us and took many pictures of us. I have printed some, so that you can see my beautiful costume.

Today school started but I had to miss it. We had a small party with our dance teacher and got the competition results. We came second place with the costume and third place with the dance. I'm already looking forward to the next Carnival. I have decided to participate again.

I hope that next year you can come to Malta during the Carnival holidays and come see me dance.
