Roald Dahl
Roald Dahl Walliams was born 13th September 1916 in Wales to Norwegian parents,he was however educated in England.For a couple of years he worked in Africa for Shell the oil company.A while later working for Shell,Roald Dahl became an RAF fighter pilot for World War II.When he was an RAF he had an air crash and bashed his head.
After Roald Dahl had children he began writing books for them, Olivia,Chantel,Theo,Matthew and Lucy.His first book was called boy,it was about his child hood.Most of Dahls books were made into movies e.g. The BFG,Charlie and the chocolate factory and many more,also most of his books were illustrated by Quentin Blake but here are the names of the other illustrators:Nancy Ekholm Burkert ,Micheal Simeon,Emma Chichester and Lane Smith.As well as writing children novels he wrote books for adults.
