Introduction: Egypt is situated in North East Africa and is made up of over 1,000,000 square kilometres of land.The Egyptian population is over 60 milion people . Egyptians mainly speak Arabic and the capital city is Cairo.

Landscape: The river Nile is 6670 kilometres long which runs through middle of country. The land which is on both sides of river Nile is good for farming.Egypt is 95% sandy desert.The highest mountain is Jabel katrinah which is 2,637metres high.

History: Ancient Egyptian civilisation is about 5000 years old.Some of the historic sites to visit include the Pyramids at Giza,near Cairo, Valley of kings at Luxor.The most two famous temple built by Ramses.
