A day at the zoo

Last year before Covid 19 happened our school organised a trip to a popular zoo in Malta. We were all very excited on our way to the zoo. On the bus we were all happily singing along. We arrived at the zoo 10 minutes before it opened. We bought our tickets and we were given a bracelet to put around our wrists. The first annimal we spotted was the king of the jungle, the lion. Afterwards we saw some cheeky monkeys on some banana trees. Then it was time to meet the cute penguins and the spotty giraffes. After some lunch we continued our visit to the zoo and met the lovely reindeer and the wise owls. Finally we saw a huge bear sleeping in the sun. While we were on the bus Miguel that he had left the camera somewhere at the zoo. When we got to school our teacher called the zoo to inform them that we had lost our camera, a cannon Eos50D, with all the precious memories of this trip. Luckily some days later someone brought us our camera back.
