Poseidon and Athena were competing to become the patron of the city of Athena.They each decided to give one gift to the citizens and whoever made the best gifts would get to be city's patron. Poseidon is the god of water Poseidon is blue and has a crown.Poseidon has a massive staff and zues is his older brother.
