It's Christmas Time

Finally it's Christmas time! I like it a lot and we celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December. We don't only celebrate Christmas on the 25th but before and after there are many more celebrations and activities.

When Christmas time arrive we will see a lot of decorations and activities like the very big Christmas tree at Valletta and at Valletta there is an event. It is called 'Fairyland' and other nice event like 'Under the bridge' and it even has a big Christmas tree. At my family's house there is decorations like the lights, the Christmas tree, the crib and the most beautiful thing, the village. We can decorate it with people, houses, fire engine, the bank, toy shop, trains, rollercoaster, milk stand, horses, flower shop, popcorn stand and more things. We also decorate with Christmas socks, elves, nutcrackers...

On Christmas Eve I go to church to participate for the wonderful Christmas mass. On the 25th we do a meal and invite my grandparents and cousins to have a nice meal with us. Between 5th-15th we go shopping every year so we can decorate our house even more. And go shopping for presents and help the poor because everyone deserves to open a gift in Christmas.

My family and I do some traditional food. Together with my dad I do the turkey, Christmas log and coconut balls. With my mum I do the mince pies, Christmas pudding, chocolate and honey rings. These are all traditional items.

I enjoy this month because I feel like getting more close with my family. Do you like this time?
