Mount Vesuvius is in Italy.There are nearby towns and the nearby towns are Naples,Pompeii,Herculaneum.It is 1,220 metres Height up.It was arupted in 24th August, AD 79.When it erupted Pompeii andHerculeum disappeared.How we know is a man called Pliny wrote about the Volcano when it erupted in AD 79.
