Turning the tap on...
She knew that it hadn't been a good idea to leave the tap running, but now she was starting to enjoy herself...
It all started that very morning. She was having a bath and just as she finished her mother called her. She thought it would only take a few seconds, so she ran downstairs forgetting to turn the tap off. Her father soon found the bathroom was flooding; the tap wouldn't turn off so there was only one solution. They had to throw out the bathtub.
Her mother, father and herself, lived in a humble house on the beach. So when they threw out the bathtub, it immediately ran down off the sand and into the sea. The girl wanted to play, so without any warning she ran off to the bathtub and settled down inside. She was so excited, she didn't even realize that she was floating, floating far away!
Soon enough, she caught sight of where she was. It was terrifying, she rubbed her eyes. Once she opened her eyes, she realized it wasn't a dream! The girl was far away from where she should have been, far away from her home.
A few hours had past and now she forgot that she was in trouble. She felt relaxed, it was as if she belonged to the sea. Her excitement took over her, the turtle quietly followed her and she could hear the bath floating on the swaying water, the sun was slowly disappearing as if trouble awaited her.
The turtle wanted to tell her something. He climbed onto the bathtub and she stroked him. As soon as her hand touched the shell of the turtle, she understood every little sentence that came out of the turtles petite mouth. He screamed "Oh human, please help me out!" The girl was confused.
The turtle led the girl to a place full of seaweed. "*Sob* My family is trapped in the seaweed. Please get them out" called the turtle. This would require the girl to climb out of the bathtub and into the sea. Although the girl was terrified, she wanted to help out her new friend.
She climbed out courageously and held her breath. As quick as she could she could. The turtle thanked her and left her along with his family.
"Lucy! Lucy wake up!" her mum called. "What! Where is the turtle and the sea and the bathtub?" the girl called. "Awwwwww! Honey, it must've been a dream. But oh well, come and eat breakfast." her mother replied.
So it all turned out to be a dream. A very REMEMBERABLE dream.
