I was on our family boat when dark, grey clouds started looming over us. Rain started pelting down like tons of tiny pebbles. The boat rolled and swayed in the frothing water as the sea pounded against us.

The storm was relentless, and the wind howled like a pack of wolves. The boat rocked violently and I could fell the panic rising. All of a sudden lightning struck the boat!

My friend woke up from his bed because of the sound of thunder and the collapsing boat. Now we were in a fight for survival. The boat split in half and there was fire spreading furiously . My friend and I did not know what to do. I came up with an idea to climb to the highest place on the boat with my friend.

We went there, but it did not seem high enough. The boat was starting to sink little by little. Incase this was the last time I saw my friend, I said my goodbye as the boat came to the water. I jumped into the water with my friend. We tried to swim away from the freezing cold water but it was too late.

We were starting to drown and finally, everything went dark...........
