Facts about Mars
Mars is a cold dessert world. It is half the size of Earth. Mars is sometimes called the red planet because of it's red, rusty iron on the ground.
Mars has season just like Earth. It's season are polar ice caps, volcanoes, canyons and weather. It has a very thin atmosphere made of carbon dioxide, nitrogen and argon.
Recently some scientist have found that there is water on Mars! Before then, nobody thought there was water on Mars. There are signs of ancient floods. On Martain hillsides, there is evidence there is evidence of salty water on the ground. It has 2 moons.
