Micro-society:Week 3-Enterprise
Dear Diary,
According to the Internet, the meaning of enterprise is a business or company. We discussed the roles of civil servants, working in Britain, such as policemen, HOS(Head Of State) and tax officers. Then we had votes for which one of us took one the roles listed. The children remaining -who had no job yet-were either create there own business or join someone's business. The ones who created their own business, and got people to work for them, were called employers. The employees, however were the ones who worked for the employer. To find out what we were best to be,employer or employee, we took a survey.
Next, we read the story of Notenuf Limited and talked about what was going on. People in the society were starting to trade goods for other goods, like towels for a nutri-bag and some seeds. Also, people who didn't have enough seeds or equipment were starting to steal. We discussed how the leader of the society would stop this.
This week, I really enjoyed it and I can't wait until we all start our society up, in a few weeks.
