1. Space was made out of gas and rock , and it is held together bye the sun .

2.The rocky planets (mars , venus , mercury and earth ) are all made out of metal ,iron , and rock .

3.The gas planets (also known as the gas giants) are much larger then the others and are not stable because they are not solid and are made out of gas .

4.The earth takes 24 hours to do a full circle .

5.It takes an entire year for the earth to do a complete circle around the sun.
