Yes you could simplify the fractions

5) It shows this as 1 box is shaded then 3 boxes in another colour then 4 boxes in another colour.

1/2 of the bar is fully shaded

1/2 of the bar is blank

6) Rosie is correct as the bar is 5/5 and 2 were shaded so it would be 2/5.

9) I know he has more strawberries than limes because it says there are 5 strawberries and 1 lime.
