Charles Darwin was the man who discovered the theory of evolution. He thought that us humans evolved from monkeys, but some people disagreed with him because during this time a lot of people were Catholic or Christian so they believed that God made humans. Darwin kept studying even though these were hard times for him because people were shouting and screaming that he was wrong about the evolution.
