St. Paul Shipwreck

St. Paul started preaching to the people about christanity and jesus and that is how the malthese people became christian

According to tradition, our religion, Christianity was brought to the Islands by the Apostle Paul in around A.D.60.

St. Paul was being taken to Rome, but the ship carrying him and 274 other people was caught in a dangerous storm and the ship was wrecked and St. Paul swam to the Maltese Islands.

As the fire was lit by the Maltese people, St.Paul was bitten by a poisonous snake but nothing happened to him. The people who lived on the Island of Malta took this as a sign that he was a special man.
