Neptune or the blue planet is the fourth largest planet in our solar system.It was named after the god of the sea,also Neptune was discovered on the 23rd september 1846. Appearance

In Neptune it has six rings that are made out of ice and chunks of rock. On Neptune there was a dark spot that was discovered in 1989 however scientists have now found out that it has now faded away.The reason the planet is blue because of the gas named methane.
