Neptune

Neptune is the second coldest planet in the solar system. It is the furthest from the sun. Usually its temperature is freezing but it can get even colder! It has raging storms in its atmosphere.

Neptune has only been visited once by a spacecraft which is Voyager 2. A large oval cloud discovered by Voyager 2 in 1989 when it flew past Neptune. Scientists identify it as a spinning storm almost as big as Earth, with the strongest wind recorded.
