It`s fun to chat online with your friends and family, and its a very useful method of communication to other people that you can`t talk to in person. Everyone does it, and even children to talk to their parents and friends, so it`s important that you can identify the dangers of the internet. This blog will tell you tips to stay safe on the internet and to keep others safe as well.

Tips

First and foremost, never give out your personal information as you don`t know who is on the other end of the computer or phone. It could be someone dangerous that your spilling your secrets to. Secondly think before you click or post. Would you be embarassed and do you want the whole world to see it. When posting pictures, especially, think. If you aren`t sure of a picture or think it`s inapropriate ask your parents if you can post it or not. Is the photo of you? If not, then ask permission to post it. If the person does not give permission do not post it.
