GOOD MORNING 6D!!!
I am so sad not to be with my 27 favourite children today, but it will be business as usual :). Do follow the home learning guide + timetable as much as you can. If you look at the two previous posts, you will see instructions for Literacy and Maths already posted. Please complete the assigned Mathletics work daily because I will be checking your progress at 3pm every day. This will be an excellent opportunity for those of you that need to catch up on missed Mathletics assignments.
For literacy, We will be using the website Pobble365 each day this week and next. In the top right-hand corner, it has a button that says PICK A DAY. Click on it, and then click on March 23rd. (Monday'sMonday's date). You will see a picture. The picture is like our text in DR. We are going to ''read'' the image and answer the questions underneath the part called QUESTION TIME. I want you to blog the answers back to me, please be sure to use complete sentences.
There are about 5 questions to think about and answer about the picture. There are also some other tasks such as ''sick sentences'' or ''finish the story''. I want you to do all the tasks specified each day, but you all need to blog 1 task back to me (make sure you are not blogging the same task again each day). However, if you would like to blog all the tasks to me under the respective headings, I would be happy to receive the added work :)
I will also be posting a research activity for Topic that should be completed by the end of the week and blogged to me by Friday at 3pm. At school this week we did a lot of work surrounding the Ancient Greeks. So this week I would like you to research the Ancient Greeks using this BBC bitesize link:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/z87tn39
Please see the Topic post for further details.
Miss you all so much!!
Enjoy this in-home learning experience, and I can't wait to see what you have done in maths on Mathletics and English through the blog at 3pm today.
Love,
Ms Dawson
