3) a) It is easy for gorilla's to catch human diseases because they are the closest related species to us.
b) It would be terrible news if the coronavirus spread to other great apes because it could wipe out the species / be extinct and they could spread it to other animals maybe?
4) a) scaremongering = spreading fear and panic
Camaraderie = mutual trust and friendship among people
Caremongering = a social media movement spreading across the internet offering help and kindness to anyone who needs it
5) Hutton's shearwater birds raise their chicks in the mountains.
When the chicks are grown, they leave their nests and head for the sea.
Some chicks mistake shiny roads for water and crash into the ground.
Each night Toni Painting rescues the chicks and puts them in her taxi.
She drives the birds to the rescue centre, where they are nursed back to health and released.
6) I stayed at work for you, so you stay at home for us. This message was telling people to stay at home and be safe so the doctors and nurses can stay at work and do their job to save people.
