This week we have been exploring the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty.

We have been singing the rhyme together throughout the week and have drawn and decorated our own Humpty Dumpty’s, some of us even wrote our names on our pictures.

We have also been building walls with different materials like Duplo and wooden blocks, we been experimenting to see how tall we could make the walls until our Humpty Dumpty’s fell off and we have spoken about the best kind of materials to use.

As well as learning about Humpty Dumpty we have also been exploring the letter sound "i". We have practised saying the sound and have thought about things that begin with that letter, we have also had a try at writing the letter.

Next week we are exploring another favourite nursery rhyme, Twinkle Twinkle and we are also going to be learning about the letter sound 'n'
