Children will be learning their red tricky words these are words which are not decodable and need to be practised. Children can practise these in a multi sensory way e.g shaving foam, sand, mud, glitter. Also writing them on paper in rainbow writing using look, cover write and check method may help them with the spelling of them. Please help support your children with choosing an appropriate challenge ; Earth, Moon or Stars (you do not need to complete all)
We will be working on spelling in school so we can tick off when children know these both to read and spell.
