Charles Darwin was famous for discovering the theory of evolution.
With Charles's book which he published in 1859 gave a good explenation to why the theory of evolution is true. The book did two things:
First, it provided a great deal of evidence that evolution has taken place.
Second, it proposed a theory to explain how evolution works.
