My New Year 6 Class
by Molly Fletcher
I’m excited about being with Miss Gorman because she is a very nice and fun person. I’m also really excited about learning more sign language with her so that I can communicate with a deaf person/people. I’m looking forward to all the fun things we get to do in year 6, especially PGL (Parents Get Lost) because we missed the Sayer’s Croft trip due to COVID.
My favourite subject is Art and I enjoy doing lots of arts and crafts at home. My hobbies are swimming and climbing. I hurt my wrist falling off the couch I was climbing 😳 so need more practise at that. In swimming, my favourite stroke is backstroke which I’m really good at. I’m on level 6 on the Swim England Learn to Swim program. We are learning how to do tumble turns right now. Ihave a big sister who is at Sheffield University.
I’d like to know what topics we’ll be doing in year 6. I would also like to know what trips are planned for us.
