JOURNEY TO SCHOOL

1) Yes, I do think the children in the picture find their journey to school difficult, because the kids have to walk in snow which looks very hard and icy.

2) I think their school is like an igloo. I think their school is different to ours because our school does not have mountains and ice surrounding it.

3) I think the adults in the picture are parents of some of the children. I think the adults are carrying survival gear like sleeping bags, tents, water, sledges and sticks to help them walk in the snow.

4) I think the children are from Antarctica.

5) I think the children would love spending a day at our school because they would not have to walk on thick icy snow to get to school and our school would be nice and warm or hot if it was summertime. I know, if I had to spend a day at their school, I would go crazy! I imagine there would be no heating and we would have to try and keep warm with the clothes that we are wearing.
