What is a festival?

A festival is a traditional celebration all around the world. Different country's celebrate different festivals like the Muslims celebrate Ramadan and Eid, Chinese New year or like the carnival of Brazil.

If I was celebrating my own made-up festival it will be called Snaila-palooza. The theme is a snail called Walter the glorious snail. He is a flying snail and he is a purple snail, he is kind so he gives presents and treats to the children you were Good this year. It comes in March 6th, but if you were naughty he puts you inside his shell. The decorations are anything you want but most people will draw Walter and then stick it on the wall.
