Lost property

Yesterday, I got up. It was a sunny day. I got some breakfast and went to check the mailbox. I saw a box in front of my door. I brought it inside and opened it on the kitchen table. It had a black hat that looked like a witch’s hat.

I put the hat on to see if it would fit on my head. Suddenly, I couldn’t see a thing for 5 seconds! When I could see again, I saw whole new world. I was on an island in the middle of the ocean. The island had tropical trees and some berry bushes. I thought, what if I put the hat on and off again. Would I travel to a new world? I put the hat on and off.

I saw some mountains and a gigantic tower! I decided to go in the tower. I saw lots of stairs going to the very top. It was so tall I couldn’t even see the top! Again I decided to go up the stairs, as I went up I felt tired. When I made it to the top, I saw a wizard!

Immediately I put the hat on and off again because I was scared. When I opened my eyes I saw cats and dogs but these weren’t normal because they could talk! I had enough of these strange places.

I put the hat on and off for the final time. I was at home at last. I put the hat in my cupboard and had a well-earned rest.
