3: The Secret Lab

Both boys slowly awaken to find that they are in the open. They are tightly bound together, like a tortoise in a shell. 

The big beefy man says to the black cat ‘I found these kids spying on us boss!’

‘Who are you? Why can’t you let us go? We won’t tell anyone!’ Shouted Bill.

The black cat comes over and stares at them with his bright green eyes ‘I was formally

called Mittens, but you can call me President Claw! You have found our

plan! But you will never stop us cats from ruling the world! WOOSE BRAIN! Take these kids and throw them into the dumpster of doom!’

The big beefy man who was obviously Woose Brain, went to pick up the boys. But little did Woose Brain know, but Bill had a utility knife in his pocket. While President Claw had been talking Bill had been cutting away at the ropes. The boys broke free and Bob shouted, ‘quick to the air vent!’

‘Stop them!!!!!!’ordered President Claw. The boys scrambled to the air vent and crawled in, barely missing the clutches of Woose Brain. While they were in the air vent the boys fell

down a trap door…

The boys found themselves in what they think is a Laboratory. It’s a very dark room with

no windows, they must be very deep under the ground. The boys can just make out a chemistry set laid out on the table. There is yellow liquid coming out of the test tubes – it’s bubbling and has smoke coming out of them.

‘I’ve been waiting for you…’ murmured a strange voice. 

The boys turned round and see a man coming towards them.
