My Easter Holidays

This Easter was very strange because we did not go out anywhere. In the holidays we usually go out to watch a film at the cinema, go out to eat and my favourite of all shopping for new clothes. On the 10th of April it was my birthday. I was sad because I could not invite my friends to my party. My dad decorated the living room with helium balloons, we had snacks, played games, had a disco (I was the DJ). My mum baked a lovely chocolate cake and also some cup cakes. My auntie and uncles sent me presents which I was very excited to open. So actually my 9th birthday turned out to be quite good.

The weather was good in these holidays, me and my dad got the garden organise. My dad cut the grass and I helped him. Now the garden was ready my dad set up the trampoline for me and my brother. I took my pet parrot Tango out in the garden with me, we kept him in the cage he really enjoyed it. We always let him out of the cage indoors so he can fly around and get some exercise and also to teach him new tricks. I really miss my best friends and I cant wait to see them back at school.
