Tuesday 24th March 2020

Hello 6F,

Well done to those of you who are blogging and engaging with the work myself and Ms Dawson have set for you. Please remember to write your first name (first name only) so I know the post is from.

Mathletics:

Keep going with the Mathletics, you have until Friday 3rd April to complete all the tasks. I have reassigned the activities to those who got a score below 60%. If you are really struggling with any of the concepts click the 'I' in the top right hand corner to get a hint or have the material explained further. You can also use your CGP Study Book, BBC Bitesize, YouTube, www.mathsisfun.com or type the objective into Google.

Maths:

Please continue with the place value sheets. These should all be completed by Friday. You do not have to blog these as it is more tricky with Maths, instead you can complete the answers in your homework books, on a piece of paper or a pad of paper it's up to you. You do not need to print anything off. Whilst you are not learning any new concepts, it is still great to keep recapping the work that we have already covered. The answers will be posted at the end of the week.

Topic:

Please continue your research on The Ancient Greeks as your non-chronological report is due on Friday at 3pm. Watch the BBC Bitesize video for information and have a look at Ms Dawson's post (Monday 23rd March) as she posted the features of a non-chronological report.

Writing/Pobble:

Remember to complete all the tasks and blog one to me.

Reading:

Please complete the First News Comprehension by Friday at 3pm. You can blog your answers in full sentences and on Friday we will post the answers for you to self correct with your virtual purple pens. Also, you should be reading every day and recording this in your reading journals. If you do not have your reading journal, you should still be reading.

But most importantly I want you all to keep safe. I'm sure most of you have been watching the news or keeping up to date with what is currently going on around the world and the UK. Please do not panic. If you are feeling nervous or confused make sure you are talking to your family and sharing any thoughts or feelings. I am still here to have a chat too.

Have a great day guys!

Miss Fallon :)
