Bonfire Night!

This week we have been learning all about bonfire night. We have looked at firework vidoes and thought about the colours and shapes we can see as they pop and bang.

We have also made our own shape pictures, lots of us could name some shapes and we also spoke about how the shapes looked.

We have also spoke about the importance of staying safe during bonfire night, by doing things such as, staying a safe distance away from the fireworks with an adult and wearing gloves with sparklers.

As well as learning about bonfire night we have also been exploring the letter sound "t". We have practised saying the sound and have thought about things that begin with that letter.

Next week we will be thinking about our favourite nursery rhymes and looking at the letter sound "p". We hope you all have a lovely weeked.
