The reason they celebrate is because it is Buddha's birthday,his enlightenment and death.

Wesak is celebrated when there is a full moon.So this year we will celebrate it on the 20th of may 2016.

Siddharta became a Buddah when he was 35 years old.

Wesak is the most important festival for Buddhists.
