THE LEAK
By Felix
One time I woke up
Near the end of the night,
Splish splash was heard
It gave me a fright.
I ran into mum and dad's room,
Looked at the clock,
I tried to wake them up
They were as sturdy as a rock.
I strolled into the hallway
Saw the drip drop,
Right in the corner
Sounded like a bunny hop.
I was a cat with a ravenous dog staring at me,
'Don't be frightened' I thought,
Water was running into every corner,
I would've rather it go to court.
The next day,
The leak had stopped.
Happy hoorahs happily coming from my brain,
Round the house I hopped.
We've never had a leak again,
I'm happy about that,
I really wouldn't want it to,
Drown our new cat!
