The storm🌩

Last week my family and I had a very scary experience.

It was noon and we were at home. Suddenly dark clouds started to fill the sky and wind started to blow. My mum told me to go and get the clothes, so I did.

When I was done, it started to rain heavily and lightning forked across the sky .I was petrified because I hate lightning. I tried my best to pluck up my courage. It started to get foggy and my mum was terrified too.

I wanted to wear my fleecy pyjamas and after we did some hot chocolate and it was so good ! Then I heard the splashing cars and the rain on the kitchen window. I touched the glass and it was freezing . I love rain , and then the storm started to calm down.

When the storm was over, a rainbow lit up the sky and I looked at the flooded street. There were crashed cars, and broken trees. I didn't like it, but everyone was safe and sound.
