The main characters are Oliver Crisp, Iris,the mermaid and Cliff, one of the Rambiling Isles.

A boy called Oliver Crisp who went out to find his family but is now stuck on a moving island and needs help from other characters to find his mum and dad.

The suprising thing is that he wasn't scared and was extremely calm.

One of my favourite parts is Cliff sounding hopeful in his life because it sounded like he was never hopeful in his life.

Another favourite part is when Iris says Oliver says the weirdest things.
