A lot of people cross roads carelessly and don't recognise the danger for example:

1. You could get hit by a car and end up in hospital

2. A car could stop for you and the next car ,which could be going quite fast, could crash into the car that stopped for you.

There is a good reason why J.P Knight invented traffic lights...TO KEEP US SAFE!

People who are in a hurry to get somewhere and go on a red man are just gonna be more late because if you get hit you go to hospital.
