A seafare is a salior or a mariner, a seafarer is also a person who navigates waterborne or assists as a crewmember in their operation and also travels on sea . The term bluejacket may be used for British or US Navy sailors, especially when they are deployed ashore as infantry.Seafarers hold a variety of professions and ranks, and each of these roles carries unique responsibilities which are integral to the successful operation of a seafaring vessel.
