Last week, a new event occurred, The House Poetry Competition. Many people took part in the trials, but after a lot of close decisions we had the finalists. 5 from every class, 1 in each house plus a wild card of the teachers choice.

On Thursday 12 of March, the finals commenced...

We heard everyones poem once and once only.

Then the judges went out of the room and decided on a winner for each year.

The winners are as follows:

Y4: Josh- with 'Cats'

Y5: Zara- with 'Tiger Tiger'

Y6 Scarlett- with Mc Cavity' '

But there could only be one winner

Our overall winner:

Okan- with 'Shopping trolley' as a rap.
