(1 The name of the illness caused by the new corona virus is COVID 19.

(2 What needs to happen is they need to isolate for 14 days.

(3 Urged is another word for expressing 'strongly advised'.

(4 The good news is that even among the elderly nearly everyone survives unless they have other serious health problems already.

( 5 1 of the prime ministers battle plan is for old people to shield themselves from others for 12 weeks. The 2nd battle plan is anyone who lives with someone who has a cough or temperature should stay home for 14 days.

(6 If i were talking to my granny or grandpa i would tell them to stay home for 12 weeks and not go near anyone.

(7a A ventilator helps the lungs to work so you can continue to breath.

(7b Companies are helping out by making ventilators with there machines, rather than making their usual products.

(8 William Gibson has come up with a brilliant idea by writing a song about washing your hands.

(9 I think his idea will help because it will encourage people to wash there hands a lot and for the right length of time

(10a Im just worried about my grandparents and hope they stay safe.

(10b While i am not at school i can facetime my grandparents to keep them company. I can also do loads of online work.
