Henry Tudor was born and bought up in Wales. Henry Tudor

married Elizabeth of York to bring peace between the families.

Henry Tudor belonged to the house of Lancaster. In August 1485

Henry VII, then Earl of Richmond, landed his small army at Milford Haven in Wales.

The battle of Bosworth was very fierce and bloody. Henry had three children but only three survived.

He was a young rebel , eager to size the throne. The leaders of these two powerful families had been fighting for more than thirty years. The battle of Bosworth was the last battle

in the wars of the roses. Henry VII had a son called Henry VIIIand he became king wen he was only 18 years old.
