This term we have been working through the amazing magical world of potions and their properties. Within the topic we have explored the story of 'Romeo and Juliet' and how the use of potions affected the outcome of the story. From this, we developed our play-writing skills to create our own play-scripts which incorporated potions. In Science we have been investigating Solids, Liquids and Gases, which included a trip the Think-tank at Millennium point where we created our own experiments and watched chemistry cauldron show where we saw real life potions being created. We have also created our own potions bottles out of clay which we designed from scratch.

We have also started our new topic about the 'Misty Mountains'. So far we have been looking at 'The Hobbit', in which we have been describing Bilbo Baggins and his Shire. In addition we have made our own Hobbit holes with our parents! Check out our video!
