Macbeth Play
On Thursday 6th November Year 6 went to the Millfield Theatre
to see the Young Shakespeare company perform Macbeth. All of year 6 couldn't wait to arrive at the theatre. Once we arrived we sat down and saw the other school's coming in. Out of all of them we were probably the smallest class there. Everyone was seated and then two actors came and chose volunteers to act in the play. We all watched the play and I thought it was really good, except the parts which involved blood. And the audience participated when the king came into the room we all stood up and said ' All hail Duncan. King of Scotland.' I would recommend the Macbeth workshop and performance to next year's Year 6 because it was really fun and I think they'll enjoy it. All in all it was really fun and quite gruesome.
