The water just kept gushing out. Despite his efforts, the man was helpless to watch as the floods pushed the dam door aside and cascaded down the barren mountain, crushing trees and boulders under it's immense weight. Even the dam team's control room atop a stable rock over the once dried-out river was soon wobbling ominously. Fearing greatly for the town's safety, he activated full power and pushed the dam's lever to close it once and for all. To his horror, the hinges exploded and hundreds of tonnes of water blasted out towards the village below.
