Week 2
Another week in Microsociety has swept past. This week was even better than last week. This week
we learnt about currency. First of all, we discussed as a class what currencies there are in the world and what country they come from. For example,a dollar comes from America and pounds come from England.

We also found out on the internet that there are around 180 currencies in the world! Moreover, we conversed about not only cash is a form of currency but eggs, animals,food and crops are a type of currency as you are trading. Today everyone trades money for something they need.

The best lesson of that week was that we got to play Monopoly! It was so much fun! The idea was that it gave us some help of what our society's currency could be and how it could be split. If we needed ones or if there was no point.
As a class we decided that our currency would be called Orrions and Orions. One of the symbols were an oval with a squiggly line going vertically across it an the other an oval with two lines
going vertically across it.
We decided that we would have two coins a fifty and a ten. Then we had a ten note, fifty note and a twenty note. Next, we decided or banker who was Stewart. His job was to tell my teacher, Mr Woods when we needed more money which was photocopied. Stewart told the class that
